Today was a fun work day! I got to go in late, do a few things in the office then head to an event in Fort Worth! The lecture was about social media in the event industry and teaching us ways to utilize it. I learned a majority of these things during my last year in college, but I was enlightened by many things as well. I surprisingly had a lot of fun. #ILikeNerdyTalk

Last night, some friends took me and David to Dave and Busters - it was our first time! It was a lot of fun. We got pizza beforehand at Union Bear in Uptown and was delish! Then we headed over to D&B for a night of childish fun. We had never been there so we didn't really know what to expect but it is exactly like what you hear - a Chuck E Cheese for adults. I beat David in a basketball game so that was probably the highlight of my night. Oh yeah!

Saturday I went to brunch with some girls from our small group. It was surprisingly fun! I carpooled with two other girls and it was a 30 minutes drive there so we had some time to get to know each other. Then David took me to the mall [insert in love/heart eyes emoji] to go shopping for some interview outfits. We had no luck at the mall but Target hit the spot, as always! After the mall, we headed over to our friends' apartment to watch the Patriots game - that is David's team if you didn't know. I couldn't even tell you who they were playing because I was busy doing this...

Yesterday I went to lunch with some Dallas academy wives/girlfriends. It was the first time I hung out with just the girls and it was really fun to be in a gathering where there wasn't incessant "cop talk." ;) We went to a place I had never been to or heard of - Zoe's Kitchen - and it was delicious!! If you have one near you, check it out! It's like Panera Bread where they have sandwiches, soups and salads and you can do that half-and-half deal. Really though, GO!

HAPPY SATURDAY!

Baby Tank is still getting potty trained so he has been waking us up in the middle of the night to tell us he needs to go potty. We take him out, bring him back in and thankfully he usually goes back to sleep. Last night we got up at 4 am but got to sleep in until 10 today!! David was out playing basketball and came home and told me to get ready for lunch. I didn't have time to do my hair which means I threw it in a braid, duh. We ended up going to Maggiano's - YUMMY - with some friends visiting from out of town. We ran a few errands then took the puppies on a long walk. It was a beautiful, sunny day. It has been a perfect Saturday!
