I came across these adorable palazzo pants the other day at Target and couldn't keep myself from buying them. This is my first time wearing them and I'm not totally convinced I can pull off the look, but I tried! I absolutely love the pattern and hope that I will gain some confidence in these pants the more I wear them!

If you have been toying with the idea of purchasing palazzo pants, I suggest you try on many different types before you give up! There are baggier ones than these, skinnier legged ones, etc. I took 5 different styles of palazzo pants in the dressing room before I fell in love with these beauties. Maybe you won't like any, but make sure you give different styles a try!

David has finally graduated from the Dallas Police Academy, woo hooooooooooo!!! Both his family and my family came to down for the festivities. Thursday was the badge pinning ceremony - this is when each recruit has a loved one (or officer) pin their official badge on them! I was so honored to be selected by David to be his pinner :) It was a cute and intimate ceremony - only his parents, sister and I were there.

On Friday was another ceremony where all of his family and friends were invited to! His class marched in and did all there police-y things, we watched a video that reflected on their time at the academy and listened to a few speeches. I am so proud and excited for him, while terrified at the same time! He will be fighting bad guys on the streets and hopefully staying safe. I don't know what I would do without him. He's my po-po hero.

Oh hello, blogosphere! Long time, no see. The last two weeks have been a WHIRLWIND so now that I have some downtime, I can finally do some updating!

David and I traveled to Searcy, Arkansas last weekend to visit my younger sister at school. She was in a musical (of sorts) called Spring Sing and we went to support her. I hadn't seen my family since Christmas and was incredibly excited to see them!!
