Valentine's Day Outfit Ideas: Classy and Casual

I'm excited to feature some adorable pieces from Tinsley Radix! Tinsley Radix is a custom fashion brand designed by the co-founders of the women’s boutique, Chantilly Dallas (who I've worked with before on this post). You can read more about these creative women and about their story here.

Classy Valentine's Day Outfit Idea

This sequin top is an amazing piece on its own, but for this look I decided to dress it up even more with a blazer and accessories. You can wear this outfit for a fancy night out with your man or a fun girls night, but it can also be dressed down for a more informal setting as well! I think it's really versatile and is such a fun item to style up or down.

Bar Necklace: Lia Sophia (discontinued), similar, similar
Tassel Necklace: Kendra Scott
Clutch: Kate Spade (on sale for just $118 - the perfect Valentine's present! Plus, the strap is removable so it can be worn as a crossbody as well)
Sequin Top: Tinsley Radix
Blazer: Zara via eBay, similar
Jeans: Hollister
Heels: Payless Shoe, similar, similar

Casual Valentine's Day Outfit Idea

For the second look, I styled this adorable top down for a more casual look with a cardigan and flats. I think this would be a cute look for a more informal occasion like dinner and a movie, or a more active date like mini golf. You could also dress it up with some more blingin' accessories or even a pink blazer like the one I'm wearing in the first look!

And good news, the kisses tank has recently gone on sale for just $49 so check out the direct link at the end of this post :)

I'm also feature the two cutest pups on the block - Tank and Miley!! They will forever be my little Valentines! <3

Flip Flop Fantasy

Today was David’s first day of the police academy! It sounds dreadful, honestly. That’s something I could never deal with. You get yelled at for nothing and get physically pushed beyond where anyone should be pushed. You have to have a very special mentality to go through something like that. And it’s only the first day! I’m not even sure how much I’m allowed or not allowed to say about the academy but I’m hoping no sergeants (that’s a weird word) are perusing tumblr late at night… So in celebration of David starting the academy, we went to a Tex-Mex restaurant with his Texas State Trooper friend. I heard an inordinate amount of police talk but I guess I should get used to it from now on. THIS IS MY LIFE!

Dear God, please bless me with some Dallas female companions soon. Thank you. Amen.
In other news, I painted my nails a radiant, summery coral yesterday! The picture just doesn’t do it justice. Every girl should got out and buy it right now. I got mine on sale at Sally Beauty Supply.
