CHEERS TO THE FREAKIN' WEEKEND!!

First off, this is what I saw when I first woke up.. This little sleepy head. Not exaggerating, he likes to sleep in more than I do! He is adorable and it is so difficult to wake him up, especially when I want to be sleeping too!

In other news, today was such an insightful day at work. I did some researching on venues and planners in the area and updated our database but then I got to go to my first site survey! A site survey is when you meet the client/planner/venue coordinator and do a walk through of the venue and talk about ideas and visions so you can all get on the same page. It was a lot of fun and I can't wait to be doing it on my own!!

And now I am ready for some take out and a relaxing night.

Life has been so fun and busy lately which means a decrease in blogging.. Oops! 

This weekend David and I went to Pete's Dueling Piano Bar (our fave) with our friend Nate and his new lady friend. It is always a fun night at Pete's but even more fun with more friends! This weekend we also went to Petland to pick up some things for Miley and ended up holding puppies for two hours (insert in love cat emoji here).. They were adorable!! Of course, I fell in love with the tiny chihuahua. He was the cutest thing I have ever seen - minus Miley. The little cutie was $1400, eek! Who would spend that much money? You can find puppies on Craiglists, adoption centers, or other random outlets. Seems a little crazy to me.. Oh well. Can't wait to get our little baby boy chihuahua in April, though!

Today is our second full day in Dallas! It’s so hot here that the only way to increase your chances of not sweating to death is to wear a dress. I got this dress from Plato's Closet and the sandals last season at Target. We have spent many hours shopping and getting settled in today. We went to grocery shopping, house things shopping (trashcan, hamper, etc.), and to the bank to officially change our address! Once again, I could really get used to this place… And I think Miley agrees.
