Today was David’s first day of the police academy! It sounds dreadful, honestly. That’s something I could never deal with. You get yelled at for nothing and get physically pushed beyond where anyone should be pushed. You have to have a very special mentality to go through something like that. And it’s only the first day! I’m not even sure how much I’m allowed or not allowed to say about the academy but I’m hoping no sergeants (that’s a weird word) are perusing tumblr late at night… So in celebration of David starting the academy, we went to a Tex-Mex restaurant with his Texas State Trooper friend. I heard an inordinate amount of police talk but I guess I should get used to it from now on. THIS IS MY LIFE!

In other news, I painted my nails a radiant, summery coral yesterday! The picture just doesn’t do it justice. Every girl should got out and buy it right now. I got mine on sale at Sally Beauty Supply.

We are all moved in! And by “all moved in” I mean we have all of our boxes and belongings inside the house. We probably won’t be completely moved in for weeks, I’m sure. I already love it here and it has been a total of 24 hours. We went to church today with some friends here and stopped for coffee on the way. Starbucks is within walking distance of our apartment and beyond that one, there are at least 4 in a 5 mile radius. I could get used to this..
